Communities, Conflicts, and Transformational Stories

You know what storytelling has been...now imagine what storytelling can be!

This is an anthropological study of the impact of storytelling on the Agta, a Filipino hunter-gatherer population. Their stories contain themes promoting cooperation, sex equality and egalitarianism — common to other foraging societies. When there are good storytellers, cooperation increases.
