Better Said Than Done and Six Feet Apart Present




On May 18th, BFFs Better Said Than Done (BSTD) and  Six Feet Apart Productions (SFAP) are joining forces to produce one powerhouse storytelling show, IMO.

Tune in at 8:00pm ET/5:00pm PT for “BSTD n SFAP present LOL IRL,” with ROTFL storytellers Diane Ferlatte, Jessica Robinson, Anne Rutherford, Ed Stivender, and Regina Stoops, and emcee Claire Hennessy.

Suggested contribution $18 per attendee. Proceeds will be divided among the storytellers.

This show is streaming to Youtube. After the live show has ended, you still have access to watch the recorded show for two weeks after.

Anne Rutherford is an award-winning storyteller who delights audiences nationwide with funny, moving performances that include tales of personal adventure, Pacific Northwest folklore and prize-winning tall tales. She is also five-time first place winner of the Northwest Folklife Liar’s Contest, — so don’t believe everything she tells you. For over thirty years Diane Ferlatte has traveled internationally captivating audiences while using songs, sign language, and humor. Diane shares historical and personal stories, as well as folktales to illustrate the struggles and triumphs of the African American experience. Diane has received numerous honors, including The National Association of Black Storytellers’ Zora Neale Hurston Award, The National Storytelling Network’s Oracle Circle of Excellence Award, as well as a Grammy Nomination.

Ed Stivender has entertained audiences on two continents and two islands, since his debut in1980. Dubbed “Robin Williams of Storytelling” by the Miami Herald and “the Catholic Garrison Keillor” by Kirkus Reviews, he is the author of two books and numerous recordings. He is known for his delightful mixture of whimsy, wit and wisdom. An award-winning Philadelphia Mummer, he was inducted into Storytelling’s Circle of Excellence in 1996.

Jessica Robinson, Founder of Better Said Than Done, has performed at Exchange Place at the International Storytelling Festival in Jonesborough, on the PBS TV show “Stories from the Stage,” in the Stone Soup, Forest, and Florida Storytelling Festivals. Jessica is co-author of the anthology Roar: True Tales of Women Warriors.

Regina Stoops is founder and co-producer at Six Feet Apart Productions and a writer, comedian, and award-winning storyteller spinning stories on stage as well as in print.

Claire Hennesy is founder and co-producer of the highly acclaimed online storytelling show, Six Feet Apart Productions.
