On Sunday, March 26, Lehigh Valley Storytelling Guild welcomes Rob Aptaker to the stage of Godfrey Daniels with Old & New Native American Stories, an engaging, insightful storytelling event just the right size for young families and anyone who yearns for the enchantment of a true storyteller.  With more than 40 years invested in the wisdom, relevance, and humor of the tales, Rob is sure to touch the right chord with listeners of all ages. Tickets: Limited seating.  Reservations recommended.

Light refreshments are available.  Books (to take home) will be provided to every child (and/or their chaperones) by Cops N’ Kids.

The best of the best, Rob Aptaker brings time-honored and worthy stories to life from an outstanding repertoire of Native American Tales—old and new—that will be kept in the hearts of listeners long after the program has ended.

About the Family Series

Lehigh Valley Storytelling Guild presents the 2023 Family Storytelling Series, A Forest of Stories, with new storytelling performances each 3rd Sunday of the month from January thru May, at Godfrey Daniels, 7 E. Fourth Street, Bethlehem, PA, from 2 PM to 3 PM.  Tickets may be purchased online or at the door. $5.50pp; children-under-5 are free.  FREE Tickets.  Limited seating.  Reservations recommended.

Light refreshments are available for purchase, and Cops N’ Kids will provide free books for children to take home.

According to Denise McCormack, the coordinator and creative producer of the series,

“Each month over the course of the season, we have the good fortune to experience marvelously varied styles of storytelling and to give storytellers an opportunity to share some of their favorite tales—to invite everyone into the imaginative worlds of story—and to feel good—together.”

This series, sponsored by Pennsylvania Council on the Arts and Lehigh Valley Community Foundation, Provident Bank, and Cops N’ Kids will be hosted by Denise McCormack and features, in alphabetical order:  Rob Aptaker, Ingrid Bohn, Karen Maurer, MaryAnn Paterniti, and Denise McCormack.
