Steve Daud:
Will tell what he calls, “TALL TRUTH AND TALES”
Is there truth in fiction? Is there fiction in truth? In these four stories – three rooted in history, one set in recent times – we’ll encounter a giant, a ghost, a moving mass of earth, and a pond full of frogs. We begin with a historical account wrapped around a hoax. Then we will visit two of Mark Twains’ tall tales – one based on real events and another based on an event that may or may not be real. Finally, you’ll hear an original story that is part factual, part invented, but everything true in its own way. Each story sits on the interface between reality and illusion, and it’s up to you to decide. Do you dare explore that boundary? Join us and find out!
