A transformational teller with a rich background in the theater arts, Diane’s dynamic storytelling embraces elements of theater, movement and song bringing each piece vividly to life. With performances not only for adults, but for a wide range of audiences, Diane tours annually nationally and internationally.

Diane’s Storytelling Concerts for adults have toured the US, the UK and beyond. Her solo show, A Thousand Doorways received raves and five star reviews at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in 2018. “an epic story told with consummate skill.”- The Stage UK. Her Seasonal Performances with Celtic Harper Margot Chamberlain celebrate the Winter Solstice as well as myths and music from cultures around the world. Now available as performance videos, expertly filmed in beautiful locations from Scotland to the International Storytelling Center Diane’s award-winning Story and Music Concerts may be streamed in real time to your audience! For additional engagement, Diane's virtual artist visits complement and round out the experience with Q and A and insight into the process, the topic and the performance.

An advocate of the preservation of cultural stories, Diane's work collecting the undocumented folktales of Kurdish storytellers in the mountainous Kurdish region of Turkey resulted in her first book "A Fire In My Heart: Kurdish Tales" (a Storytelling World Honors Award Winner) published by Greenwood Press in January, 2008.
