    Hi Folks,

Somehow, I’ve lost the link or document that connects storytelling to the National Core curriculum standards… I’m even more embarrassed because I’ve forgotten who in the storytelling community did the herculean task of doing the work.
    Help! and thanks.

Hi Bob, Please go to the YES website. Our board attached Storytelling applications to each CCSS k-12. And holy moly it was Herculean.

So YES is Youth, Educators, and Storytellers. With the NSN Board reorganization of the sigs I really haven’t attempted to get to the website. The wonderful Katie Knutson is the current chair, and I was the chair when we created the document. Jane Stenson

The Herculean documents can be found at https://storynet.org/groups/yes/storytelling-and-the-common-core-standards/ What a resource!

    Dear Jane

What a fab piece of research, development and production!

So clear so concise so beautifully articulated!

Would you by any chance feel the need to create a similar document for the UK curriculum?

    Best Wishes
    Cassandra
