The Jackson District Library is excited to present the 31st Jackson Storyfest, October 17-19, 2018. The three days will feature some of the most talented and famous Storytellers throughout the United States.
October 17, Jackson 9:00 a.m. 9:45 a.m. 10:30 a.m.
Storyfest gets rolling with the Preschoolers, Head Start programs and early education organizations across Jackson County will be gathering together to participate in preschool story sessions. Leading the children in a whimsical story time performances are Mother Goose, a.k.a. Trudy Bulkey at Carnegie Library, 244 W. October 18, Jackson 10:00 a.m.
Jackson Storyfest presents LaRon Williams and his performance for Jackson area senior citizens at the much anticipated Silver Tales for the Young at Heart. Packaged especially for seniors, this event will be hosted by the Ella Sharp Museum in their Community Room 3225 Fourth St.

31st Annual Jackson Storyfest brings storytelling sessions to schools throughout Jackson County for students K-12 featuring approximately 30 local, regional and national professional storytellers. As a finale celebration of Storyfest, a Michigan Storytelling Showcase event will be held free to the public at the Michigan Theatre located at 124 N. Mechanic Street in Downtown Jackson. Headliners include: Emcee, Corinne Stavish and storytellers: Robin Nott, Judy Sima, Corrine Stavish, and Jenifer Strauss. This will be a family event and all ages are welcomed!
