On September 11, 2001, the hijackers thought only of loosing terror. Instead, storyteller Regina Ress witnessed a tidal wave of loving-kindness. That one act of anger prompted hundreds of thousands of acts of compassion, generosity, and grace. Regina's stories carry us from the streets of Lower Manhattan to the cloud-forest of Costa Rica and back.
As New Yorkers and then the world reached out to neighbors, first responders, and New York City, they created what Stephen Jay Gould called "The Great Asymmetry... little drops of gold within a rainstorm of similar offerings."
Regina Ress is an award winning storyteller, actor, author, and long-time resident of NYC's Greenwich Village. She was a witness to the 9/11 attack on the World Trade Center and a participant in the response that day and for many months afterward. She has stories!
