Nurses have the best stories! You’ll want to hear ours!
The Nursing Story Slam brings together nurse storytellers from Penn Nursing and Penn Medicine to share their true, personal stories that explore the breadth, depth, and diversity of nursing.
The theme for this year’s event is Stepping Up. This Year of the Nurse and Midwife is like nothing we could have ever imagined with the fight for racial justice and health equity, along with the coronavirus pandemic, nurses have been stepping up in more ways than one. Whether at the bedside, in schools, out on the streets, or in research and innovation labs, you’ll want to hear how nurses are answering the call to make this world a better, safer place for all.
More information on how to attend virtually will be released prior to the event.
Penn Nursing is the number one nursing school in the world and has multiple number one and top-rated master’s programs here in the U.S. Join the ranks of Penn Nursing experts and leaders who have been advancing science and delivering solutions, shaping policy and practice, and engaging communities to promote health for over a century. These will be your collaborators, your mentors, your friends, leading to a healthier future.
If you are a Penn Nursing student, faculty, staff, or alumni, or a Penn Medicine nurse and would like to apply to be a storyteller, click here for more information.
