For families, kids of all ages. Free.
Earthteller Fran Stallings shares folktales and "fact-tales" about our environment and our role in it, adds lively songs and audience participation, and suggests actions your family can take right away. Co-sponsored by the National Storytelling Network.
Before there were books. long before we heard of "ecology," traditional people used stories to teach their youth to understand and respect our fellow creatures and the environment we all share. These ancient stories from all continents still have the power to teach – and they’re fun to hear! Modern songs double the fun (and the learning).
Retired from teaching university biology, Dr. Stallings now uses storytelling to teach nationwide and overseas.
