Texas Storytelling Festival March 9-12.

Everyone loves a good story!

Hear personal stories, ghost stories, a liars contest, sacred tales, youth activities, a story slam, poetry slam, music, and so much more. In addition, participants you can attend workshops to hone your own storytelling skills.

A weekend pass includes:

  • 50 storytellers
  • 13 storytelling concerts including Ghost Tales, Liars Contest, Fringe, and Story Slam.
  • 9 workshops
  • 3 music concerts
  • 1 poetry slam
  • 1 storytelling slam

Our Nationally Known Featured Tellers:

Sheila Arnold depicts historical characters and presents Christian monologues along with a variety of stories and folktales.

Elizabeth Ellis is a National Storytelling Festival favorite known for her memorable and powerful personal stories.

Colin Urwin shares traditional Irish and Scottish folk tales and songs.

Joe Hayes is a nationally recognized teller of Southwestern folktales from the Hispanic, Native American and Anglo cultures.

Bernadette Nason is best known for her amusing anecdotal stories, and multicultural folktales and fairy tales.
