Fall Series 2017 JUST ‘CAUSE
Sometimes storytelling addresses everyday reality through metaphor; sometimes it addresses reality head on.
UPON A WHITE HORSE with Storyteller Darci Tucker
100 years ago the women of New York won the right to vote, thanks in part to “the lady on the white horse.” A graduate of the NYU School of Law, Inez Milholland used her looks and her brains to bring attention to the cause of women’s suffrage. Called the “Poster Girl of Radicalism” by the NY Times, this lawyer, war correspondent and outspoken crusader for social justice literally worked herself to death for the cause of women’s suffrage. Storyteller Darci Tucker will bring her back to life.
