Your National Storytelling Summit Registration includes:

  • Registration packet and all Summit materials
  • Access to all Keynote sessions
  • Access to your choice of over 30 Summit workshops
  • Access to the ORACLE Awards ceremony and reception
  • Access to all networking events and performances

*Master Classes and President’s Fundraiser are not included with Full Summit Registrations and must be purchased separately.

Consent to use of photographic images: Registration and attendance at, or participation in, the NSN National Storytelling Summit constitutes an agreement by the registrant to NSN’s use and distribution (both now and in the future) of the registrant or attendee’s image or voice in photographs, videotapes, electronic reproductions, and audiotapes.

Special Assistance: NSN is committed to making the Summit accessible to all individuals. If you anticipate needing special assistance while at the Summit, please indicate that information along with a list of your needs on your registration form in the appropriate location or inform the NSN staff of your needs prior to the Summit.

Requests for reasonable accommodations at the Summit should be made as early as possible, so we may best accommodate individual needs and requirements. On-site requests will be accommodated to the best of our ability, however, available resources may be limited.

American Sign Language Interpreters: If you require an interpreter please submit your request before June 8, 2019. After this date, NSN cannot guarantee requests for interpreters can be fulfilled; however, we will make every effort to accommodate requests. Cancellation Policy:

If you need to cancel your registration, we must have your request in writing. Written notices of cancellation may be sent via email to or via postal mail to National Storytelling Network, 8900 N.E. Flintlock Road, Kansas City, MO 64157

  • Registrations canceled more than 60 days before the event will be refunded 80% of the registration fees;
  • Registrations canceled less than 60 days but more than 30 days before the event will be refunded 50% of the registration fees;
  • Registrations canceled less than 30 days before the event will not be eligible for a refund.

Attendee substitutions may be made at any time and must be submitted in writing. The appropriate member/non-member rate will apply for substitutions.

All cancelations and refunds will be processed in the same manner as original payment: if paid by credit card, the refund will be issued to the card on record; payments made by check will be refunded as a check.
