The National Storytelling Network invites you to donate items to the 2018 Summit Silent Auction. Proceeds will benefit NSN National Storytelling Summit expenses. Bidding is conducted on forms located on tables next to the auction item. Donors may bring auction items with you to the Summit or you may call the office if you need to ship your item. Following are examples of items donated to the auction in previous years:

  • Artwork
  • Jewelry
  • Books, CD’s, DVDs, other media
  • Coaching sessions or business advice (Coaching by phone, internet or in person)
  • Clothing, hats, etc.
  • Musical instruments
  • Performances, workshops, classes
  • Puppets or other props
  • Restaurant gift certificates, vouchers, etc.
  • Sound equipment, cameras
  • Vacation packages
  • Autographed sports memorabilia
  • Anything else you think would be of interest

 

Arrangements For Donations

Auction Items may be brought to the Resource/Market Place room when you arrive at the hotel. You will need to check your item in with the Resource/Market Place Coordinator, Kathy Greenamyre. Please complete the Auction Item donation form, which can be downloaded below.

If you are not attending the Summit, you may still donate an item for the auction. Send your auction item along with the donation form to:

Forms may also be emailed to kgreenamyre@thepowerofstorytelling.com. If you are mailing an item, make sure it can be delivered no later July 20, 2018, at our address above.

Please let us know by July 20th if you are donating an item:

  • Email Gail N. Herman at gail@gailherman.net and the Resource/Market Place Coordinator Kathy Greenamyre at kgreenamyre@thepowerofstorytelling.com.
  • Knowing in advance the item(s) you will be donating will help us know how many tables to rent from the hotel. We would love to know by July 20, 2018, how many items we will have for the auction.
  • Items not sold in the Silent Auction should be collected by the owner (or designated person) at the end of the auction on Saturday evening July 28, 9:30 p.m. Items not collected by Saturday evening after the last event will be donated to NSN.
