National Storytelling Network (NSN) is offering Financial Assistance Scholarships to students and young adults interested in attending our 2018 National Storytelling Summit.

We hope you're making your plans to attend the 2018 National Storytelling Summit in Kansas City, Missouri being held from July 25-28, 2018.

A clarification of the HSA SIG Pre-Summit Workshop is in order. The original date listed was Thursday, July 26, however, the date has been changed to Wednesday, July 25 to avoid a conflict with the Master Classes being held Thursday, July 26.

The early bird registration deadline for Summit registration is May 31, 2018 but you won't want to wait until the last minute to register for the Summit. Register early for the best rates!

Since 2008, Vancouver Public Library has had an Indigenous storyteller in residence who uses storytelling to bridge the gap between Indigenous and non-Indigenous communities. This year, T’uy’t’tanat-Cease Wyss, an artist and ethno-botanist, who studies plants and their traditional uses, has been selected.

The NSN Summit/Conference Committee is in the midst of finalizing details for our meeting in Kansas City this coming July. The reason for my writing is that we are still seeking RFPs for regions/Storytelling organizations interested in hosting the 2019 NSN Summit/Conference. If there is any region desiring to host the 2019 NSN Summit/Conference please email Robert Barrientos regarding your interest in hosting.
