Tom Rawson is a retired primary school teacher, that lives in the San Juan Islands of Washington. Early in his teaching career, he heard Margaret Read MacDonald tell stories, and got hooked on storytelling. A member of the Seattle Storytellers Guild for over 30 years, Tom Rawson is a child of the ’60s, and grew up on the folk revival. Some describe him as the West Coast Peter Seeger. With his banjo and ukulele, he often shares those folk-peace songs along with a few silly stories, tall tales or anecdotes from his travels.  Tom’s March 2022 Storyfest program was one of our most popular events.
