Adair Heitmann, BFA is an award-winning storyteller, educator, writer, and artist. She is a Storytelling World Resource Honor Award recipient, national winner in the National Federation of Press Women Professional Communications Contest, and state winner in the Connecticut Press Club's Professional Communications Contest. Her stories examine identity, self-acceptance, relationships, creativity, transformation, and resiliency through pivotal life experiences.
Her essays and poems are published in books and anthologies. Adair is a Poet-in-Residence Teaching Artist in schools with Silvermine Art Partners in Norwalk and Bridgeport, CT, and is a Guest Lecturer in universities nationwide.
She's been writing and publishing "Adair Heitmann's Creativity and Wellness" blog since 2009 and she is a grant recipient from the Connecticut Department of Culture and Tourism. Her fine art is exhibited internationally and online.
