Denise Page:
Is a multi-generational African American New Englander. Her stories are rooted in that experience. You’ll hear in her wonder, reverence for family, community, & justice; stirred with humor. She is a Proud Black Woman – identity inherited from her ancestors. Her stories are about and for all People.

She is a founder of Ubuntu Storytellers. She and/or her team have performed and led a master class for the National Storytelling Network’s Conference; the Women’s Storytelling Festival Artists Standing Strong Together, “Better Said Than Done,” Rose Valley Storytelling, International Festival of Arts and Ideas, Mouth Off, Connecticut Storytelling Center, BadyHouse Storytelling Concert, libraries across CT and more She serves as President of the Board of Connecticut Storytelling Center and is immediate past President of National Speakers Association; CT Chapter. In addition, she is chair of the Social Justice Committee of NorthEast Storytellers (NEST) and on the Board of Mercy by the Sea; a Retreat Center.

The Story Space runs every Tuesday Night from 6:45 – 9:00 P.M. EDT.

Storytelling of all types and styles, in a friendly, cooperative venue where listeners and tellers and newcomers alike get full attention.
There are no content restrictions, other than prohibiting deliberately offensive language.
Try out a new story, spin an old favorite, or just listen.
No Topics. No Competition. No Judging. Just Stories.
