Michigan Bright Water Storytelling Festival, Saturday, November 9, 9:30 am -9:00 pm Eastern, Howell, Michigan. It will host storytelling workshops, open mics, performances, and a virtual pre-conference workshop within the theme of Natural Wonders. This 2nd annual festival offers two tracks of events with national and Michigan professional storytellers. The Family/Youth Track is free and will be held at Howell Carnegie District Library. The ticketed track venue is Howell Opera House. This one-day festival welcomes families, youth tellers, seniors, and businesses, guides new storytellers and supports storytellers. Festival participants will experience story’s powerful ability to entertain, make meaningful connections, and transform and deepen our understanding of ourselves, each other, and the world.
