Bio
Noa Baum was born and raised in Jerusalem and focuses on her craft's power to heal across the divides of identity. Her show A Land Twice Promised relives her heartfelt dialogue with a Palestinian woman, illuminating the complex and contradictory history and emotions surrounding Jerusalem for Israelis and Palestinians alike.
Since 1982, Noa's performances and interactive workshops have captivated and inspired audiences internationally. Presentations highlights include: The World Bank, Mayo Clinic, The Kennedy Center, U.S. Defense Department, US Food & Drug Administration, NYC Jewish Museum, Brandeis University, Stanford University, Hebrew University in Jerusalem, Fabula Festival, Sweden.
Noa studied with Uta Hagen in NY and received an MA in Educational Theater from NYU. She is a winner of a Parents' Choice Recommended Award and recipient of multiple Artist Awards from the MD State Arts Council and the Arts & Humanities Council of Montgomery County, MD. she lives in the
