Bio
Darrin Crow has been telling stories most of his life, though in the early days they were mostly told to his stuffed animals. He really discovered his passion for stories in high school when he became an interpreter at a living history museum and saw the power of stories to make history real for people. In college he studied communication and interpretive speech and put them to work immediately as a professional actor and itinerant storyteller from Pennsylvania to Florida. He>s been based out of Iowa since 1999 where he brings stories of Iowa history, folk tales, tall tales and more to life for audiences of all ages and at venues ranging from the Iowa Arts Festival to area retirement homes and classrooms. Adults in partiular love his Halloween program, <Morbid Curiosities: An Evening With Edgar Alan Poe.<
