Linda Brown:
Linda Brown is a co-founder and current president of the award-winning Black Storytellers of San Diego and she is also a member of the Storytellers of San Diego.She has been a storyteller all her life, so her family says. She has never been able to answer a question with a simple yes or no, she always has to give you the back story. She has been a member of Bethel AME church for fifty years, where she is a member of the Mary F. Handy Women’s Missionary Society, the Sanctuary choir and the Class Leaders council.
Linda received the Brother Blue Circle of Elders award from the National Association of Black Storytellers.
Linda writes most of her stories and likes to leave her audience wondering if the story is true.
