Angela Lloyd

A One-woman band and consumate artist on Washboard, Angela Lloyd is a cantefabulist (spontaneous musical interludes, and outbursts of song) played on Autoharp, Baritone Ukulele, Spoon and Bell. Her repertoire embraces stories and songs from the oral tradition, personal experience, and contemporary poets’ writings. She lives in Victorville, Ca with her husband, Larry and their dog, Maddie Mitzvah. PS: Loves Zooming "LIVE" at home. Past: Angela crisscrossed the country 1980-1986 in residence touring with children's theatre companies, performing, teaching, conducting residencies and professional development. 1991 saw her work featured at regional and national Storytelling festivals. Angela began her post as the storytelling teacher in residence at Children’s Community School, Van Nuys, California. http://www.ccsteaches.org.
