Special Interest Groups

A Special Interest Group (SIG) is a formal group created by National Storytelling Network (NSN) members joining together within the structure of NSN for a common purpose, exploring their area of interest in storytelling. SIG members pay additional dues to support SIG activities, such as workshops sessions, publications, mentoring programs, etc. You must be a member of NSN to join a Special Interest Group.

Kamishibai Storytelling Alliance (KSA)
A group focused on kamishibai storytelling, a form of visual storytelling invented in Japan.

Producers and Organizers (PRO)
Storytelling events don’t happen without effort.

Storytelling In Organizations (SIO)
Narrative insights into the contemporary business scene.

Youth, Educators and Storytellers (YES)
Teaches to tell, and tells to teach.
