Native American - Tales From The Longhouse. I tell traditional stories of the Longhouse peoples who lived predominently along the Eastern Seaboard. I use various telling methods including the old Native American sign languaage, Call & Response and others. I use Narragansett words but the stories are told in English.

N8tauau Kaukontuoh, “she hears the crow”, is a woman of the Eastern Woodlands. She lives her life in the tradition of the Nanhigganêuck, the people known today as the Narragansett. She is a Storyteller of the Longhouse Tales in many different ways including Native Sign Language, Call & Response as well as other traditional styles. She has twice been awarded publishing contracts for her book of poetry, is currently completing a Native children’s mid-grade novel and shares the stories at Schools, Powwows, Community Centers, Libraries, Museums, Indigenous Gatherings, and wherever the stories lead her.
