Conference Registration

The National Storytelling Network, in partnership with the Georgia Storytelling Network, invites you to the 2025 National Storytelling Conference to be held at Kennesaw State University in charming Kennesaw, Georgia from July 17-20 of this year.

Our 60 presenters this year include nationally-known storytelling icons, the most promising emerging storytelling voices of our day, and Grammy- and Emmy-nominated artists.

Connect and reconnect with your national storytelling community this summer for four days of inspired programming, fellowship, and the best of storytelling from Georgia and across the country.

Full-conference ticket available for NSN members at only $249 until May 31 early-bird deadline. All full-conference tickets will also include access to the live-streamed and recorded virtual ticket.

Meals will be shared at Kennesaw State’s award-winning dining hall, ranked #10 out of 1,344 colleges for best campus food in the United States, and accommodating of nearly all dietary restrictions.

If you are driving, full-conference parking is $8 (only for parking in the NSN-reserved garage). If you are flying in, you will need to make your own arrangements to travel to and from the airport and the university.

We will be in the Joe Mack Wilson Building and the Wilson Annex. Wear your walking shoes, as we will occupy a campus triangle of housing, conference, and cafeteria but will also have a volunteer team of drivers for those requiring a quick lift between locations.

We highly recommend staying in on-campus housing for the best conference experience. NSN’s block reservation allows us to provide full-conference housing for a rate cheaper than all nearby hotels (as far as we know).

KSU’s dormitories are new and comfortable. Each suite contains two private bedrooms with desks, one bathroom, one lounge space, and one kitchenette.
You may reserve one of the private bedrooms within a suite and indicate a roommate to take the other, or you may reserve the whole suite for yourself.

To make the conference as affordable as we can this year, we have also provided an option for attendees to save $50 on their housing cost this year by bringing your own twin-size sheets, pillow, and towel.

Generously produced by Heather Forest of Healing Story Alliance and Jessica Piscitelli Robinson of Better Said Than Done, our virtual ticket includes an all-day live-stream of Stillwell Theater with the highlights of our conference programming, including the Georgia Storytelling Network’s regional storytellers’ concert, the national concert, the NSN general membership meeting, the ORACLE awards ceremony, and the ORACLE awards concert.

Interact with fellow virtual attendees, as well as the in-person group through live chat, or catch up on four days programming at your own pace and convenience. The links for viewing the recorded virtual ticket will be active until the end of September this year.

Volunteering at the conference this year can provide a $50-100 discount. Indicate your interest by April 30th! Volunteer slots will be allocated by mid-May.
