Individual Membership Options

 

Individual Membership – $75

Benefits include a monthly newsletter and Storytelling Magazine (published three times per year), access resources & databases, discounts to educational events, workshops and classes.

STUDENT MEMBERSHIP CONDITIONS & BENEFITS
A student membership can be granted to someone who is in high school grades 9-12 or someone who is currently enrolled, full-time or part-time, in a degree granting program. Excluded are persons who are enrolled in career enhancing programs or just taking a course at a school. Person should be actively pursuing a post-secondary degree.
Student memberships will have all benefits of regular membership EXCEPT they will not receive a physical copy of Storytelling Magazine. They will be able to access it online by signing into the Members Only area of the website with their email address and password. They will not be considered a member of the corporation.

Organizational Membership Options

 

Non-Profit Organizational Membership – $100

Open to nonprofit organizations interested in storytelling.

Benefits include a monthly newsletter and Storytelling Magazine (published three times per year), plus your staff will receive a 10% discount for their individual memberships and the organization receives discounts for advertising its events and activities on website and magazine.

For-Profit Organizational Membership – $125

Open to for-profit organizations interested in storytelling.

Benefits include a monthly newsletter and Storytelling Magazine (published three times per year), plus your staff and members will receive a 10% discount off their individual memberships and the organization receives discounts for advertising its events and activities on website and magazine.

Find A Storyteller Directory Listing – $20

Special Interest Groups (SIGs)

A Special Interest Group (SIG) is a formal group created by National Storytelling Network (NSN) members joining together within the structure of NSN for a common purpose, exploring their area of interest in storytelling. SIG members pay additional dues to support SIG activities, such as workshops sessions, publications, mentoring programs, etc. You must be a member of NSN to join a Special Interest Group.

Healing Story Alliance Special Interest Group (HSA) – $25

Promotes the use of storytelling in healing and is to build a resource for the use of story in the healing arts and professions.

Producers and Organizers Special Interest Group (PRO) – $25

Encourages cooperation, networking, and support among storytelling event organizers within NSN and to foster the professional growth of the individual members.

Storytelling in Organizations Special Interest Group (SIO) – $25

Brings narrative insights onto the contemporary business scene by documenting and promoting the constructive role and widespread importance of storytelling in corporate, non-profit, small business, education, and other settings.

Youth, Educators and Storytellers Alliance! Special Interest Group (YES) – $25

Brings narrative insights onto the contemporary business scene by documenting and promoting the constructive role and widespread importance of storytelling in corporate, non-profit, small business, education, and other settings.
