Senior Center Invites All: Come and Share Your Stories

The Herald of Randolph (Randolph, VT) , February 4, 2010

Summary:

What’s more enjoyable than sharing your stories?

And what’s a better way to build community than to hear other people’s stories?

That’s the idea behind a new series of storytelling programs, called “Talking With,” sponsored by the Randolph Senior Center for the general public.

“It’s a live talk show,” explained “Talking With” originator and Randolph native Sara Tucker. The first one will be held this Sunday.

“The program will celebrate the diversity of small-town life with a variety of guests,” Tucker said, “including the many unsung heroes who make Randolph work: the people who fix our cars, report our news, deliver our babies, clean our streets, put out our fires, teach our children, grow our food, and groom our pets.”.
