Michael J. Caduto–master storyteller, musician and author–blends indigenous world tales, native instruments, guitar, song and dance. His participatory performances engage through the use of creative and theatrical storytelling, music, dance and guided imagery. He has performed at hundreds of venues throughout North America, Europe and the Middle East, including more than 1,000 public and private schools, libraries, museums, nature centers, camps, colleges and other venues. His school programs reach thousands of children each year and more than 550,000 people have attended his live performances and educational programs. In 1984 Michael founded P.E.A.C.E.-Programs for Environmental Awareness & Cultural Exchange. His books–including Earth Tales from Around the World, In the Beginning and the Keepers of the Earth series–have received the Aesop Prize, NAPPA Gold Award, Storytelling World, Skipping Stones Award and Teacher's Choice Award.
