Queen Mother Imakhu:
“Imakhu” means “Minister; One Worthy of Honor.”
Queen Mother Imakhu celebrates fifty years as a professional artist. In her Kemetic (Ancient Egyptian) cultural practice, she is a Sedjedit (African storyteller, poet, musician, dancer, historian, mediator, educator, and motivator). Her engaging show celebrates her rich heritage, including African, Gullah Geechee, Afro-Latin/Afro-Caribe traditions.
