Bereavement Care Journal, Volume 36, 2017 – Issue 3,   November 2, 2017

To Absent Friends (TAF) is an annual Scotland-wide participative festival of storytelling and remembrance. Its purpose is to reduce the social isolation of bereaved people,

At TAF, people can remember,  tell stories,  celebrate and  reminisce about people they love who have died. TAF may be able to engage people from all walks of life, with possibly a great scope for its future growth and positive impact.
