This year's festival will be all online and will feature Elizabeth Ellis, Diane Ferlatte, Megan Hicks, Tim Lowry, and Antonio Rocha in pre-recorded videos, live (Zoom) performances, and Zoom workshops. All of the videos will be available on demand, meaning that you can watch them anytime during the festival and for 30 days afterward, and the live events will be recorded and put on the event site for viewing during and after the festival too. General admission is just $10 per household (not per person), and tickets for students and teachers are free. We hope you can join us!
This Better Said Than Done, Spotlight on You storytelling workshop is your opportunity to take that true story you have and turn it into something captivating – whether it’s for an audience of one, or one-thousand. In this half-day workshop, you’ll hone some of the skills unique to live storytelling: the structure and arc of an oral story, building strong characters, and how to win the audience over. For storytellers of all levels.
Just come with an idea for a story and you’ll leave with a story ready for prime time!
Led by Jack Scheer

Inspired by the "I AM" picture book series by Susan Verde, five storytelling sessions will feature three stories each related to the five books. These family appropriate stories focus on compassion, mindfulness, action, empathy, and reflection. The website includes pre-festival stories, introduction to the books by the author, and thought provoking blogs. Each video series will be posted on the website, https://www.kvmstorytelling.org/, FREE.
